Moston Junior Football Club was formed in 1993 by, Colin Mclaren, David Bywater and Larry Duff. The club initally started with an U8s team which won the Bluecoat Tournament in their first season.
1996: The club win their first league title ( Manchester League U11)
1997: The club enters teams into the Manchester Mini Soccer League.
1999: Moston Juniors win their first Mini Soccer League title and the Manchester FA County Cup for the first time.
2002: Early in this year the club achieve Active Sports Club status and later in the year become the first club in Manchester to be given FA Charter Standard Community Club status.
2005: Moston Juniors become a registered charity in order to secure funding for the development of Ronald Johnson Playing fields.
2006: The club are asked by Manchester City council to enter an U10s team into the World Peace Cup in Japan. The team spent ten days in Hiroshima and played football in the Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium which was used in the World Cup.
2007: The club sign the lease for Ronald Johnson Playing fields and the contractors have begun landscaping work.
